The Farran Family
God has allowed us the unique privilege of serving overseas as missionaries since 2007. We spent 8 years in South Africa, starting an HIV/AIDS Hospice Care Home for a few years and then providing theological training for Zulu pastors. Another part of our ministry was serving the missionaries as the team leader. In this role we learned how to best serve the missionaries and help them thrive in ministry.
Since 2015 I have served as a Regional Director for ABWE which has allowed Heather and I to serve as a team. We lived in Tanzania serving the East Africa region for 3 years and now live in Western Europe. It is a joy to lead and develop missionaries, helping them fully live out their calling.
We currently live in Lisbon, Portugal and serve the ABWE missionaries in Portugal, Spain, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and Italy. There is still a great need for the gospel in these Post-Christian countries.
It is a joy and privilege to build into missionaries in Western Europe!

Kyle: When I was 5, the Lord used the verses that my parents taught me to make me understand my need for Him. I praise God for His drawing that caused me to believe in Him as my only hope for salvation. During a missions trip to Papua New Guinea, God burdened me with a desire to be part of His work in taking the gospel to the world. God has made seeing and savoring His glory the greatest joy of my life. I long to share with others the glory of God and the greatness of what He has done, so that He may become their all-satisfying treasure. I know that His power will accomplish exactly what He desires, and will work through us as His instruments to glorify Himself. I received my Master of Ministry in Organizational Leadership from Clarks Summit University. I am an ICF-credentialed life and leadership coach, a licensed instructor of The COACH Model®, and a certified John Maxwell leadership speaker, coach, and trainer. My passion is to help others to "taste and see that the LORD is good" (Psalm 34:8) and to "keep [their] heart with all vigilance" (Proverbs 4:23). I love hiking with my family, reading, exercising, and exploring remote places on my motorcycle. |
Heather: At the age of 4, I asked my mother how I could become a child of God. I count it a blessing that He chose at such a young age to draw me to Himself and provide a Christian family. It was through a mission trip during college that God placed the desire for missions in my heart. While on a mountain top in Mexico, God overwhelmed me with His greatness. I realized that the only life worth living was a life with His power and His love flowing through it. No career that I could muster up on my own would ever bring complete joy. It is a thrill to me to turn my life over to God in full-time missions. Heather is an RN with her degree from Cedarville University. |
